In the context of the effort of the Municipality of Malevizio and the Ministry of Culture, to include the dance and music of Maleviziotis in the intangible cultural heritage of Unesco, the Thyrathen museum played a decisive role in recording the data for the creation of the file with the aim of including Maleviziotis, in intangible cultural heritage.
Part of the recordings were made at the museum. The Thyrathen museum thanks both the Municipality of Malevizio and the Mayor Menelaos Bokeas, as well as Myrevi Nasiou, Vasiliki Papadopoulou from the Ministry of Culture and remains at their disposal for any help and information.
