The duet of Kelly Thomas with Chrysanthi Ghika presents a special concert where tradition meets contemporary creation. With the main instruments being the Cretan and the political lyra — two related, three-stringed bowed string instruments — the two musicians create a lively musical dialogue that draws inspiration from the musical traditions of the eastern Mediterranean and the wider world.
