Folk Trio is a fresh collaboration of traditional Bulgarian music, filled with modern ethno sound and interpretation jazz motifs.
Participants are deeply connected with the Academy of Music, Dance and Fine Arts in Plovdiv and long interacted with success in various music formats. At the beginning of 2013 in them the idea was born to come together to present traditional Bulgarian folklore in a different light, to make it more recognizable, interesting and topical among young people in Bulgaria. Their concept is unusual. - Vasil Vasilev (kaval), Vladimir Petkov (piano) and Denitsa Vassileva (vocals). This combination is a prerequisite for opening up new creative horizons by combining folklore from different regions of Bulgaria with pop and jazz, traditional and club sound.
