The Thyrathen Museum is creating music-kinesthetic education lessons for children aged 4 - 7 years.
Music-kinesthetic education in particular is an experiential educational method, which aims to coordinate and transmit music with movement to children through play. Children do not only hear sounds, but they learn to sing, to produce the same sounds with instruments, to accompany the music with movements and body expressions, and all this in their own improvised context, which they gradually develop. The benefits of music-kinesthetic education for children are many: they develop their hearing, strengthen their imagination and creativity, they acquire more motor-physical skills (e.g. flexibility, fine movements), well-being, liberated thinking and much more.
The classes will take place at the Museum at Riga Feraiou Square 9, every Monday and Wednesday 17:00 - 18:30.
The classes start on Monday 6/10/2025.
