The Board of Directors of the Museum of Traditional Musical Instruments Research and Documentation "Thirathen" thanks our dear friend and musician Michalis Spyridakis for the contribution he made to our Museum.

In particular, Mr. Spyridakis donated to the Museum a handmade Karpathos lyre, which was added to the Museum's collection of instruments, it is worth noting that it is a 1997 construction by Mr. Vasilios G. Pyrgos that Mr. Spyridakis gave it in his memory.
