The presentation of the Documentary "The Art of the Mandolin in Crete" was successfully completed

The event of the presentation of the Documentary entitled the art of the mandolin in Crete was concluded with great success.

On Sunday, November 5, 2017, in the packed hall of the parish of Agia Triada in Krousona, the Documentary titled "The Art of the Mandolin in Crete" was presented. A large number of people turned up to witness the event.

Grigoris Pitsikakis, from the side of the Museum, committed to the continuation of the actions related to research and documentation, while at the same time he emphasized that the second part of the documentary dealing with mandolin instrument making will be presented at the beginning of 2018, while he thanked the participants and those who worked for this work, for their contribution to the dissemination and preservation of the cultural heritage of the Music of Crete. From the region of Crete, Kostas Fasoulakis was present, who emphasized the need for continuity of the Museum's activities while at the same time giving support from the region.
