The Thyrathen Museum with Avgerini Gatsi is organizing a new Traditional Music Workshop for children aged 8 to 13-14 years old, who want to discover the richness of the Greek musical tradition.
Every Tuesday from 5:30 PM to 7 PM at the Thyrathen Museum
Cost of the activity 45€/month
Through experiential activities, children will get to know songs from all regions of Greece, experiment with rhythms and percussion instruments, sing simple polyphonic pieces and play musical-motor games. In addition, they will have the opportunity to come into contact with traditional dances, connecting music with movement and teamwork.
The workshop includes: Learning traditional songs from all over Greece, rhythms with percussion and other musical instruments, polyphonic songs, creative music-pedagogical games, traditional dances
