Ortakis, from the Turkish word ortak, means companion, collaborator - ortagia is therefore collaboration. In our Ortagia, we meet in search of our own sound in the melodic world of Crete. The lyre, the cello, the bulgari and the daulaki - four instruments of different origins - set up alisverisi, and thus the music as we learned it, gives birth to the music as we imagine it. From the master craftsmen of Cretan music to new compositions, there is an endless space of experimentation. Somewhere there we travel, exploring.
